KN4MXG

911SC & 997.2I am Matt - KN4MXG and I am a physician-scientist-engineer learning Ham radio with my son (KN4MXH). This is a super cool hobby to share with a son!

I've got an ICOM 7300 now with a Carolina Windom antenna. Making contacts slowly, learning how to actually talk on the radio. It sure is fun. Thank you for looking me up and talking to me....Experience is everything.

I live on the SC / Georgia border, the Savannah River, in North Augusta. It is a really pretty view of the city from where I live, but had to work to hide my antenna.

I am an emergency physician and also teach clinicians how to use ultrasound to evaluate and treat patients at the Medical College of Georgia (MCGultrasoundEducation.com). I also work with the telemedicine programs, especially the connection of rural emergency departments back to the academic medical center.

I'm running ICOM radios - IC-9700 & IC-7300 - on a Diamond XT and a Carolina Windom antennas at the base station.
